US President Donald Trump expressed concerns that Democrats might attempt to impeach him if they win back control of Congress. Trump highlighted the historical trend of presidents losing seats in midterm elections, regardless of their performance. He emphasized that losing the midterms was his main worry.

Trump stated that Democrats would likely pursue impeachment if they took over the House or Senate, citing past instances where they had tried to impeach him. Despite this, he confidently mentioned that he had easily overcome previous impeachment attempts.

The President defended his administration’s policies, citing significant achievements in areas such as investment and public safety. He praised the influx of $18 trillion into the country, leading to the establishment of new factories and business expansions. Trump claimed that the US had achieved unprecedented success under his leadership.

Regarding crime rates, Trump asserted that the US currently experiences the lowest crime numbers in its history. He credited federal actions for reducing crime in locations like Minnesota, Washington, DC, Memphis, and New Orleans. The President attributed the decline in crime to the removal of numerous hardened criminals through enforcement efforts.

Trump acknowledged that immigration enforcement remained a challenging issue for his administration, despite border closures. He criticized what he termed as the “open border policy of Sleepy Joe Biden” for allowing criminals to enter the country. The President highlighted the difficulty of deporting individuals brought into the US illegally.

The President addressed concerns about tensions in Minnesota, expressing confidence in resolving the situation and denying any federal retreat. Trump described his positive interactions with state and local leaders as constructive and aimed at swift resolution. He praised immigration enforcement officials, particularly Tom Homan, for their effectiveness in collaboration with governors and mayors.
