The United Arab Emirates (UAE) authorities have issued a warning against filming incident sites, restricted areas, or airport interiors without permission, as stated by the Embassy of India in Abu Dhabi. Indian nationals are urged to strictly follow these guidelines to ensure their safety and avoid legal repercussions. If a warning alert is sounded, individuals are advised to move to a safe location and refrain from taking photos or videos until the alert is lifted.
To prevent any risks, Indian nationals are cautioned against sharing images of incident sites or damage on digital or social media platforms. In case of discovering suspicious objects or shrapnel, immediate reporting to the authorities is recommended to handle the situation safely. The Embassy emphasized the importance of complying with local laws and safety guidelines issued by the UAE authorities, especially regarding airport photography.
Meanwhile, the UAE Ministry of Defence confirmed that its air defence systems were actively responding to missile and drone threats from Iran. The ministry clarified on a social media platform that the sounds heard in certain areas were due to the interception of missiles and drones by the air defence systems. Authorities have advised the public to stay in secure locations and stay updated through official channels during this evolving situation.
