The UAE’s Ministry of Defence disclosed that it has intercepted 165 ballistic missiles, two cruise missiles, and 541 Iranian drones. Tragically, individuals from Pakistan, Nepal, and Bangladesh lost their lives in the airstrikes, with several others sustaining minor injuries from various nationalities. The ministry successfully neutralized 20 ballistic missiles, eight missiles into the sea, two cruise missiles, and 311 drones on the second day of the Iranian attack.
Some debris from intercepted ballistic missiles and drones caused minor to moderate material damage in scattered areas of the UAE. The Ministry urged the public to rely on official sources for information and avoid spreading unverified news. Emphasizing the safety of all individuals within the country, the Ministry assured its preparedness to address any potential threats without compromising the well-being of citizens, residents, and visitors.
Anwar Gargash, a senior diplomatic advisor to the UAE President, called on Iran to act sensibly and responsibly towards neighboring nations to prevent further escalation and isolation. Gargash highlighted Iran’s aggressive actions as reinforcing its image as a significant threat to regional stability, cautioning against widening the circle of conflict.
