Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan led a review meeting at the CBSE headquarters in New Delhi to address Class 12 exam evaluation and post-result issues. Officials were directed to resolve student problems promptly and transparently. The government emphasized a student-focused examination system, ensuring concerns are handled effectively.
Minister Pradhan oversaw the progress of post-result services, aiming to enhance student support, evaluation systems, and digital platforms. Around 18 lakh students appeared for the Class 12 exams this year, with approximately four lakh students already accessing scanned answer sheets. The government reaffirmed its commitment to students’ welfare and vowed strict action against any lapses.
The Minister acknowledged challenges such as login issues and heavy server loads on the post-exam services portal. An expert team from IIT Madras is working to enhance portal stability and services for students. The meeting included officials from the Ministry of Education, CBSE, IITs, and public sector banks. Recent concerns over evaluation system irregularities have sparked a political debate, questioning the process’s integrity.
