Union Health Minister J.P. Nadda expressed willingness to engage with all parties regarding the examination paper leak problem. He mentioned talks with the protesting CJP representatives and urged activist Sonam Wangchuk to end his hunger strike and participate in the dialogue process.

Nadda, in a press conference, described the meeting with CJP representatives as positive, where the government listened to their concerns and requested them to submit their demands in writing. He clarified that no new meeting occurred on Wednesday.

Regarding his visit to Sonam Wangchuk at Medanta Hospital, Nadda inquired about Wangchuk’s health and appealed for him to halt his fast. He emphasized the government’s readiness to discuss all issues and address concerns, mentioning Wangchuk’s open letter that the government would respond to before further dialogue.

Nadda emphasized the government’s interest in a thorough discussion on examination paper leaks, suggesting Parliament as the appropriate platform for a long-term policy. He highlighted the government’s openness to various discussion formats, including short or extended debates, to ensure all aspects are covered and a solid policy is developed.

Nadda also countered Opposition allegations by citing instances of paper leaks in states governed by parties other than BJP. He accused Rahul Gandhi of politicizing student concerns instead of seeking justice, urging for a non-political, detailed discussion on the issue in Parliament.
