Union Agriculture and Farmers Welfare Minister Shivraj Singh Chouhan has announced the upcoming release of his book titled ‘Apnapan’. The book offers a detailed account of his thirty-five-year association and personal experiences with Prime Minister Narendra Modi. Described as a deeply personal narrative, ‘Apnapan’ explores their journey through organizational work, public service, governance, and the shared goal of nation-building.
Chouhan expressed confidence that the book will serve as an inspiration, particularly for young readers, encouraging them to actively contribute to India’s development through values like service, empathy, patriotism, and public welfare. Scheduled for a formal launch on May 26 in New Delhi, the event will be graced by former Vice-President M. Venkaiah Naidu and former Prime Minister H.D. Deve Gowda as guests of honor.
The book ‘Apnapan’ aims to provide readers with a unique insight into Prime Minister Modi’s personality, leadership style, and work ethic from a close perspective. It captures the inspirations and values Chouhan gained while collaborating with PM Modi since the 1991 Ekta Yatra. The narrative reflects on their partnership evolving into significant roles in state and central governance over the years.
