The filming for director Karthik Dandu’s much-anticipated mythological thriller ‘Vrushakarma’, starring actor Naga Chaitanya, has concluded in Rajasthan. Production house Sri Venkateswara Cine Chitra (SVCC) shared the news on social media, highlighting the completion of a significant schedule in the majestic palaces of Rajasthan. Post-production work, including extensive CGI, is now in progress to deliver a unique mythological thriller to Indian audiences.
The film has generated excitement among fans since a glimpse video was released earlier this year, hinting at a storyline beyond a simple treasure hunt. The video showcased dark powers and a man possessed by evil, setting the tone for a thrilling narrative. Characters played by Jayaram, Meenakshi Chaudhary, and Naga Chaitanya were briefly introduced in the video, adding to the intrigue.
Naga Chaitanya had previously revealed that ‘Vrushakarma’ would be a VFX-heavy mythological thriller, marking a departure from his usual roles. The actor expressed enthusiasm for the project, emphasizing its adventurous and treasure-hunting elements. The film’s first look poster, featuring a rugged Naga Chaitanya, was unveiled last year on his birthday, showcasing a different side of the actor.
Meenakshi Chaudhary portrays the character Daksha, while Jayaram takes on the role of Professor Ranganath in the film. With a strong technical team and creative talents behind the scenes, including director Sukumar and cinematographer Neil D Cunha, ‘Vrushakarma’ promises to be a visually captivating cinematic experience.
