She expressed concerns about ongoing construction work disturbing residents in Mumbai’s Juhu area, attributing it to a property reportedly owned by Modi. However, builders clarified that the property did not belong to Modi, urging against implicating him in the issue.
The builders, represented by Mr. Jignesh and contractor Mehta & Co., issued a statement refuting Dholakia’s claims. They emphasized that the construction, authorized with necessary approvals, was unrelated to Asit Kumar Modi. The statement denounced Dholakia’s allegations as unfounded and urged the media to accurately report their clarification.
In an open letter, Urvashi detailed the disturbances caused by the prolonged construction work, highlighting its impact on residents’ sleep and well-being. She underscored the importance of adhering to construction time regulations in residential areas, especially for the well-being of families, children, and the elderly.
