Trump canceled US representatives’ trip to Islamabad for talks with Iran but did not issue new threats in a social media post.
Trump emphasized the US’s strength in negotiations with Iran, urging them to initiate talks. Internal divisions in Iran were highlighted when moderates and hardliners disagreed on the status of the Strait of Hormuz. Despite failed negotiations, Trump extended the ceasefire but maintained the naval blockade on Iranian ports.
