Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath urged all police officers to adopt Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s vision of smart policing as their life’s guiding principle. Speaking at the Senior Police Officers Conference ‘Police Manthan-2025’, he praised the UP Police for establishing law and order in the state, ensuring a sense of security for its citizens. Adityanath emphasized the importance of updating policing methods to meet future challenges and achieve the goals of ‘Smart Policing’ and ‘Vision 2047-Developed and Self-Reliant India’.
The Chief Minister highlighted the significance of the conference’s discussions in shaping a modern, sensitive, and effective police system. He proposed making this conference an annual event to serve as a permanent platform for progress. Adityanath commended the contributions of approximately 55 speakers across 11 sessions, believing their ideas and experiences will enhance the Uttar Pradesh Police’s modernization, sensitivity, technological integration, and public trust.
Adityanath expressed appreciation for the Director General of Police, Uttar Pradesh, and all participating police personnel, honoring them with the ‘Chief Minister Excellence Award’. He stressed the importance of providing scooters to women beat officers associated with ‘Mission Shakti’ to accelerate the program’s implementation. The Chief Minister also mentioned infrastructure upgrades for the police, such as replacing barracks with high-rise buildings in several districts, underscoring the government’s commitment to positive change in law enforcement.
