Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has embarked on a two-day visit to Japan, aiming to enhance industrial development in his state. During his trip, he engaged with prominent business figures to discuss opportunities for strengthening industrial ties and attracting investments to Uttar Pradesh.
Upon his arrival in Tokyo, CM Yogi expressed his greetings and optimism for collaboration between the two lands. He held a constructive meeting with Kazuki Shimizu from Mitsui & Co., focusing on potential investments in sectors like Renewable Energy, ICT, Semiconductors, and Data Centres to support the state’s industrial expansion.
Furthermore, discussions revolved around cooperation in infrastructure projects, logistics networks, and industrial investments to bolster Uttar Pradesh’s growth corridors and global supply chain integration. CM Yogi also met with Shigeki Tanabe from Konoike Transport Co. Ltd. to explore opportunities in logistics, warehousing, and transport infrastructure, emphasizing the potential for medical devices manufacturing.
Additionally, the Chief Minister is set to experience a 100-kilometre ride on a Maglev train during his visit. This innovative train technology operates without traditional tracks, using magnetic propulsion to achieve speeds of up to 600 km/h.
