The Uttar Pradesh government, under Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s direction, has responded promptly to the death of a cow vigilante in Mathura’s Kosi area. The Chief Minister has emphasized the need for strict action against those responsible, stating that the accused will face consequences without exception.
The tragic incident involved Chandrashekhar, a local cow protection activist known as ‘Farsa Wale Baba,’ who was allegedly killed by suspected cattle smugglers while chasing a truck on his motorcycle near Navipur village. One suspect has been apprehended, while three others are being pursued by law enforcement.
Chandrashekhar’s death has deeply affected the Braj region, where he was well-known for his involvement in cow protection activities. The community has expressed sorrow and outrage over the violent event, with authorities assuring ongoing investigations and a commitment to ensuring justice for all involved.
Security measures have been heightened in the area to maintain peace and prevent any further disturbances. Police are examining the vehicle involved and investigating claims of cattle smuggling that led to the fatal confrontation, urging the public to remain calm during the inquiry.
In response to the incident, Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has reiterated the government’s stance on swift and stringent action, vowing that the perpetrators will not escape punishment. The CM’s decisive approach has been welcomed by residents and leaders, who stress the importance of upholding law and order in the aftermath of this tragedy.
