Actor Varun Dhawan, famous for his dynamic dance skills, confessed to feeling anxious while dancing alongside Salman Khan in the song “Vyah Karwado Ji” from the movie “Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai.”
In a post on his official Instagram account, Varun shared behind-the-scenes footage of the lively dance sequence. He captioned the post, “Always nervous to dance next to India’s biggest kunwara #vyahkarwadoji bts (sic).”
In the video, Salman is seen asking Varun, “Ready Hain?” After Varun finishes his shot, Salman humorously teases him, asking, “This is rehearsal? Phir theek hain?,” eliciting laughter from everyone on set.
“Vyah Karwado Ji,” featuring Varun and Mrunal Thakur, is sung by Mika Singh and Asees Kaur, with lyrics by Vayu. Mika described the song as having a festive wedding vibe, full of desi masti and energy that amplifies every celebration.
Asees Kaur expressed her joy in recording the wedding song with Mika Singh and Varun Dhawan, emphasizing the special connection that wedding songs create with people’s happiest memories.
“Hai Jawani Toh Ishq Hona Hai,” directed by David Dhawan, boasts a star-studded cast including Mouni Roy, Chunky Panday, Maniesh Paul, Jimmy Shergill, Rakesh Bedi, and Ali Asgar, among others. The film, produced by Tips Films Ltd and Maximillian Films (UK), is set to hit theaters on May 22 this year.
Salman Khan, on the other hand, is currently occupied with his upcoming project, “Maatrubhumi,” centered around the events of June 15, 2020, when Indian soldiers clashed with Chinese troops in the Galwan Valley. The movie will focus on Colonel Santosh Babu, portrayed by Salman Khan, and the 16 Bihar Regiment tasked with enforcing a disengagement agreement along the Line of Actual Control (LAC).
