Veteran comedian and actor VIP shared his struggles during the COVID-19 lockdown, revealing his battle with depression due to work loss. He credited his daughter, Dhwani Pawar, for helping him by suggesting virtual performances to cope with the challenging phase. VIP emotionally expressed his gratitude towards his daughter’s unwavering support on the show ‘Tum Ho Naa – Ghar Ki Superstar’.

VIP highlighted the impact of the pandemic on artists, emphasizing the delayed return to work for the entertainment industry. He narrated how his daughter’s initiative of organizing virtual shows helped him overcome depression, despite his initial technological challenges. Dhwani, appearing on the same show, humbly acknowledged her father’s significant role in her life, stating that her contributions pale in comparison.

Known for his comedic talent for over thirty years, VIP gained fame through various television comedy shows like ‘Comedy Circus’ and ‘Comedy Nights Bachao’, along with appearances in Hindi films.
