Reacting to the recent controversy surrounding the slogan ‘Kashmir will become Pakistan,’ Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP) National Spokesperson Vinod Bansal expressed concern over the development of such a mindset. Bansal emphasized the need to understand the origins of this mentality and investigate those nurturing and supporting such elements.
Bansal stressed that addressing this issue goes beyond the arrest of one individual and called for identifying and taking action against all involved in radicalizing him. He urged the government to take strict measures against conspirators and sympathizers behind such acts, emphasizing the threat they pose to national unity.
In a related incident, Maharashtra Police arrested a 25-year-old man for playing the provocative song ‘Kashmir Banega Pakistan’ near a temple in Palghar district. The song, considered a serious threat to India’s sovereignty and public peace, was streamed through a mobile phone to a salon’s loudspeaker, causing tension in the local community.
Authorities confirmed that the arrested individual was streaming the song from a YouTube app on his phone. The incident, which led to the man’s immediate arrest, has raised concerns about the dissemination of provocative content in public spaces and the importance of maintaining communal harmony.
