The Vibrant Gujarat Regional Conference (VGRC) for Central Gujarat is set to kick off in Vadodara on Monday. The event aims to enhance regional investment and development ties by bringing together policymakers, international partners, and industry leaders for a two-day engagement at GSFC University. Chief Minister Bhupendra Patel, Deputy Chief Minister Harsh Sanghavi, and other officials will be in attendance, along with representatives from partner countries and global industry bodies.
The conference commences with the Vibrant Gujarat Regional Exhibition (VGRE) followed by the inaugural session. State leadership will deliver speeches during the sessions, with participation from diplomatic representatives and business leaders. The focus of the conference is on promoting investments, fostering regional industrial growth, and encouraging international cooperation.
Partner countries such as Japan, Rwanda, the United Arab Emirates, and Ukraine are actively participating in the event. Additionally, various international and industry organizations like Japan External Trade Organisation (JETRO), US-India Strategic Partnership Forum (USISPF), and others are engaged as partner entities. Sectors such as semiconductors, electronics, biotechnology, aerospace, fintech, and more will be highlighted during the conference.
The event will delve into the development potential of 10 districts in central Gujarat, including Ahmedabad, Vadodara, Gandhinagar, and others. Thematic discussions on emerging technologies, agriculture, women entrepreneurship, and tourism are part of the program. The conference is viewed as a strategic move to propel regional industrial development and fortify global connections in alignment with long-term economic strategies.
