Popular actor Vijay Sethupathi participated in the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections by casting his vote at Chennai High School in Kilpauk Garden. He proudly displayed his inked finger to the media after voting. Various other stars from the Tamil film industry, including Trisha, Santhanam, Nikki Galrani, Aadhi, Siddharth, Keerthi Suresh, and Aishwarya Rajesh, also exercised their voting rights in different locations across Chennai.

Actors like director Shankar, his daughter Aditi Shankar, Vijay, S A Chandrasekhar, Shoba Chandrasekhar, H Vinoth, Pa Ranjith, Atlee, Rajinikanth, Soundarya Rajinikanth, Kamal Haasan, Shruti Haasan, Vikram, Gautham Karthik, Ajith, Anirudh Ravichander, and Dhanush were among those who cast their votes at various polling stations. The voting process witnessed a significant turnout of stars and film personalities, joining the public in selecting representatives from a pool of 4,023 candidates.

The voting for the 234-member Tamil Nadu Assembly took place on Thursday, with the results scheduled for May 4. The participation of numerous celebrities added to the election fervor, emphasizing the importance of exercising the democratic right to vote.
