With the Tamil Nadu Assembly elections approaching, political parties in the state are actively engaging in campaign activities and presenting their election manifestos. The DMK and AIADMK have already revealed their manifestos, focusing on welfare and development initiatives. Actor-turned-politician Vijay is gearing up to launch the election manifesto of his party, Tamilaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK), at a prominent hotel in Nungambakkam, Chennai.
Vijay will introduce the party’s “visionary election manifesto” during an executive committee meeting at the Taj Coromandel hotel. The event, limited to 800 party workers, will enforce strict entry regulations with QR code-based passes. Compliance with election guidelines mandates a closed-door gathering to maintain crowd control measures.
Known for his populist pledges, Vijay has promised various benefits like loan waivers, monthly financial aid, and free LPG cylinders during his campaign. The upcoming manifesto is anticipated to encompass a wide array of welfare schemes and policies targeting diverse voter groups, especially the youth and middle-class demographics.
As the election day nears, all eyes are on Vijay’s manifesto as it positions TVK against established Dravidian parties in a closely contested electoral battle.
