Bollywood singer-composer Vishal Dadlani became emotional on May 12 as he honored his late father on what would have been his 83rd birthday. In a heartfelt social media post, he shared his ongoing struggle with grief, emphasizing that thoughts of his father still fill his days even four years after his passing. Dadlani acknowledged that the pain of losing a loved one never truly vanishes; one simply learns to carry it better over time.

Reflecting on the occasion, Vishal wrote, “They say the pain is just the love left behind. My Dad left us enough love to last forever.” Despite the years that have passed since his father’s demise, the musician continues to cherish his memory daily. He highlighted the enduring nature of grief, noting that while the ache persists, individuals gradually become adept at concealing it.

Vishal Dadlani, a prominent figure in Indian music, is renowned for his contributions to the industry. Known as one half of the Vishal-Shekhar music composer duo alongside Shekhar Ravjiani, he has delivered numerous hit songs featured in popular Bollywood films like Om Shanti Om, Student of the Year, War, and Pathaan. His chart-topping tracks, such as “Sheila Ki Jawani,” “Besharam Rang,” “Swag Se Swagat,” and “Jhoome Jo Pathaan,” have garnered immense acclaim.

Apart from his musical endeavors, Vishal also serves as a judge on the singing reality show Indian Idol, alongside Shreya Ghoshal and Badshah. Additionally, he is known for his outspoken views on civic issues, environmental concerns, and various real-life challenges, often sharing his thoughts candidly on social media platforms.
