Vishva Hindu Parishad International President Alok Kumar has urged for legal action against individuals spreading “bizarre rumors.” He supported the statement by Shri Ram Janmabhoomi Teerth Kshetra Trust Treasurer Swami Govind Dev Giri Maharaj, confirming the safety of all donated gold ornaments and silver bricks. Kumar emphasized that anyone involved in the Ram Temple embezzlement case, regardless of their positions, will face consequences.
Kumar highlighted the need for a thorough investigation into the embezzlement allegations surrounding the Ram Temple. He dismissed claims from the Opposition about missing ornaments worth crores, stating that the Trust Treasurer had affirmed the security of the gold and silver items. Kumar condemned the spread of irresponsible rumors aimed at creating discord among Hindus.
The VHP President emphasized that spreading such rumors constitutes a crime under Section 353 of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita. He called on the police to interrogate those involved in disseminating misinformation and urged for legal action against them if found guilty. Kumar also urged Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath to identify and address the individuals behind the rumors.
While supporting CM Yogi Adityanath’s stance against Akhilesh Yadav and the Samajwadi Party’s alleged history of opposing Hindu traditions, Kumar called for a comprehensive investigation into all accusations related to the case. He criticized Akhilesh Yadav’s recent remarks on Ayodhya and questioned the commitment of the SP Chief and his party towards the development of the temple town.
