Karnataka Police have apprehended a woman for the murder of her boyfriend in Bengaluru. The victim, identified as 27-year-old Kiran, was allegedly set on fire by the accused, named Prema, under the guise of a Western-style proposal. The tragic event unfolded at the Bidadi Police Station limits on the outskirts of Bengaluru.
Prema, who worked at the same company as Kiran, had been romantically involved with him for a brief period. The police revealed that the accused woman tied up Kiran, blindfolded him, doused him with petrol, and ignited the fatal fire. The authorities discovered that the woman had purportedly planned the heinous act in advance.
Investigations suggest that the victim, Kiran, was avoiding Prema’s calls and messages as he was preparing to marry someone else. The police are currently interrogating the suspect to determine the motive behind the gruesome crime and the reason for recording the incident on her mobile phone. The case remains under active investigation by the authorities.
