A tragic incident unfolded in Indore as a 23-year-old man, identified as Raj Makwana, passed away after allegedly jumping off the fifth floor of a residential building. Raj resided with his family in the Tapti Complex in the Chandan Nagar area of Indore. The unfortunate event occurred following a verbal altercation between Raj and the security personnel of the building.

Raj’s family shared that he was feeling unwell due to the heat and was walking downstairs when questioned by the security staff about his late-night stroll. This questioning led to a heated argument, resulting in the involvement of local police. Allegedly, a policeman even slapped Raj during the confrontation. Subsequently, Raj returned to his flat with his parents before taking the drastic step of jumping off the building.

Upon the incident, the police were informed and Raj was rushed to a nearby hospital, where he was declared dead on arrival. The authorities have initiated an investigation into the matter, with the body undergoing a post-mortem examination. While the police suspect suicide, the exact cause of Raj’s actions will be determined post the examination report.

Raj’s mother, Rekha Makwana, attempted to intervene and prevent her son from taking the extreme step, but Raj proceeded to jump in front of her. The family, devastated by the turn of events, spent the night outside the hospital. Raj’s family mentioned that he had stepped out due to breathing difficulties, which led to the unfortunate altercation with the guard and subsequent involvement of the police.
