YouTuber and former ‘Bigg Boss 17’ contestant, Anurag Dobhal, is recovering after a suicide attempt due to severe psychological distress. A recent video from a friend shows him in the hospital’s emergency room, conscious and interacting with friends, although the monitors were off and no IV fluids were administered.
The suicide attempt followed a live video on Instagram where Dobhal drove recklessly on the Delhi–Meerut Expressway, crashing his Toyota Fortuner at speeds exceeding 140–150 km/h. During the livestream, he expressed emotional distress, spoke about loneliness and personal struggles, and referred to the drive as a “final drive.”
After the crash, Dobhal was quickly located and taken to a hospital for treatment of injuries, including fractures. He was later transferred to another facility for medical observation and is reportedly in the ICU but stable. His public discussions on mental health struggles and family conflicts had sparked online debates on creator pressure and the risks of livestreaming dangerous activities.
The incident gained widespread attention on social media, with fans and fellow creators expressing concern for Dobhal’s well-being and emphasizing the importance of avoiding speculation during his recovery.
