New Delhi, July 2 (IANS) Coal production from captive and commercial mines in India stood at 17.88 million tonnes (MT) in June, while coal dispatch reached 18.55 MT, as production increased by 14.9 per cent over June 2025, when output stood at 15.56 MT, an official statement said on Thursday.In the first quarter of FY27 (April to June), cumulative coal production increased by 5.35 per cent compared with the corresponding period of the previous financial year.
