Kolkata, April 7 (IANS) A huge amount of money was recovered in Kolkata on Tuesday ahead of the Assembly elections. About Rs 19 lakh was seized from the Shyambazar area of north Kolkata. Two persons have been arrested in connection with the incident, said a senior officer of Kolkata Police.Investigators are trying to find out where the money was being brought from and where and to whom it was being taken.
