Chennai, April 14 (IANS) The Greater Chennai Police have granted a three-day parole to YouTuber ‘Savukku’ Shankar, also known as A. Shankar, who is currently detained under the Tamil Nadu Goondas Act of 1982, following the death of his mother, A. Kamala. Shankar, who was lodged at Puzhal Central Prison, had been served with a detention order under the Goondas Act on April 10, 2026.
