New Delhi, April 7 (IANS) Indian Railways has installed AI-enabled video surveillance for passenger safety and security across 1,874 stations for automated detection of events such as intrusion and loitering, along with facial recognition software for real-time identification and monitoring as part of the innovative measures taken during 2025-26, according to an official statement issued on Tuesday.
