Oscar-winning composer A.R. Rahman is set to honor the Border Security Force (BSF) heroes with a musical tribute on June 7 at the Attari border. The performance, titled ‘Jai Ho – A Tribute to the Bravehearts,’ will express gratitude and respect for the courage and sacrifice of the BSF personnel.
Rahman will be joined by director Imtiaz Ali, actor Vedang Raina, and other singers from the film ‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ at the event. The tribute, scheduled between 4:30 PM and 5:30 PM during the Parade Ceremony at JCP Stadium, Attari border, aims to celebrate patriotism and emotion through music.
‘Main Vaapas Aaunga’ is a period romantic drama featuring Sharvari, Naseeruddin Shah, and Vedang Raina, set against the backdrop of the 1947 Partition of India. The film explores themes of love, separation, migration, and memory, depicting a romantic relationship amidst historical turmoil.
The movie, backed by Applause Entertainment, Window Seat Films, and Mohit Choudhary, is slated to release in cinemas on June 12, 2026. The ceremony at the Attari–Wagah border, a daily tradition since 1959, symbolizes the camaraderie between the security forces of India and Pakistan through synchronized drills and performances.
