Acclaimed spiritual vocalist Ankit Batra, known for his rendition of the Achyutam Keshavam bhajan, recently conducted Nupur Sanon and Stebin Bin’s unique “Musical Pheras.” The couple chose a “Vedic Musical Ceremony” over traditional silent rituals, a trend embraced by young couples and celebrities for a deeper spiritual connection during weddings.
Ankit Batra, who has performed at high-profile weddings like those of Parineeti Chopra and Raghav Chaddha, curated a special selection of Vedic mantras and explanations sung live as the couple circled the sacred fire. The wedding attendees described the ambiance as “divine,” with guests like the bride’s sister Kriti Sanon visibly moved by Batra’s rendition of the vows.
“Music is the closest path to the divine,” expressed Ankit Batra. He highlighted Nupur and Stebin’s desire for a spiritual union, emphasizing the emotional impact of his singing during the ceremony. The couple, who tied the knot on January 11 this year, opted for both a Catholic and a traditional Hindu wedding in Udaipur.
