Despite the challenging situation, she praised her partner Hrithik Roshan for uplifting her spirits. Saba shared that she lost 4 kilograms in two weeks because of the illness, even though she follows a strict routine of consuming home-cooked food and carrying her water everywhere.

She described the past 14 days as the worst of her life, attributing her condition to Cyclospora cayetanensis. The actress emphasized the importance of washing vegetables and fruits thoroughly before consumption to prevent such infections.
In her social media post, Saba urged everyone to take precautions while handling food items. She highlighted the necessity of washing salad leaves and vegetables meticulously to avoid health risks.
