Actress Vaishnavi Macdonald recently took a trip down memory lane by performing her song “Maine Dil Ka Hukam Sun Liya” from the 1998 film Barsaat Ki Raat. Sharing a video on Instagram, she recreated the charm of the song, which had gained popularity from the movie.
Vaishnavi, known for her role as Geeta Viswas in the TV series Shaktimaan, has also appeared in Bollywood films like Bambai Ka Babu, Ladlaa, and Barsaat Ki Raat. Her journey into acting began unexpectedly when she got the chance to act in a horror film by Ramsay Brothers during a vacation in Mumbai.
Barsaat Ki Raat marked a significant turning point in Vaishnavi’s career, leading her to pursue acting professionally. Over the years, she has been part of various films and TV shows, including Shaktimaan, where she played the role of Geeta Vishwas from 1998 to 2005, earning critical acclaim for her performance.
Currently, Vaishnavi can be seen portraying the character of Rani sa in the show “Rimjhim.” Her versatility and memorable roles have made her a well-known figure in the entertainment industry.
