The Ahmedabad Crime Branch successfully apprehended two absconding criminals from Kota, Rajasthan, after a seven-hour operation, thwarting their plans to establish a criminal network in Ahmedabad. The arrested individuals, identified as Aman (Ehsan Ali Sayyed), 25, and Suheb (Firoz Khan Pathan), 26, are associated with organized crime syndicates operating in Rajasthan and other states.
Both Aman and Suheb have extensive violent criminal histories, with more than 20 serious offenses on record in Rajasthan, including organized extortion, attempted murder, targeted shootings, and Arms Act violations. The authorities disclosed that the duo was captured on the Vejalpur-Vasna road in Ahmedabad, where they had arrived to expand their network due to challenges faced in Rajasthan. Aman, in particular, is notorious with multiple criminal cases against him.
Intelligence reports suggested that the two criminals had connections with individuals linked to a larger organized crime network associated with Rohit Godara, who is implicated in various extortion and threat cases in Rajasthan. The Rajasthan Police have previously conducted operations against gangs affiliated with the Godara network and the broader Lawrence Bishnoi syndicate, known for its involvement in interstate extortion and violent crimes.
Following a prolonged chase, the suspects were apprehended by the authorities in Ahmedabad before they could engage in any criminal activities. The operation was executed based on precise human intelligence, leading to the swift arrest of the individuals. The Ahmedabad Crime Branch is collaborating closely with the Rajasthan Police, and after completing legal procedures in Gujarat, the accused will be transferred to the Kota Police for further investigation.
