AIADMK General Secretary Edappadi K. Palaniswami expressed confidence in the AIADMK-led alliance’s victory in the upcoming Tamil Nadu Assembly elections, aiming to secure 210 seats to form the next government. Speaking at a rally in Madurai, Palaniswami emphasized the alliance’s determination to achieve a resounding mandate statewide.
Palaniswami called for a strong grassroots campaign, urging party members to intensify efforts across all 234 constituencies. He stressed the importance of unity and hard work, emphasizing the need for every cadre to contribute to the alliance’s success.
Taking a swipe at the ruling DMK, Palaniswami criticized the party’s campaign approach and questioned Chief Minister M.K. Stalin’s track record on the state’s development. He highlighted Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s financial allocations for Tamil Nadu, contrasting it with the DMK’s alleged lack of progress.
Accusing the DMK of corruption and dynastic politics, Palaniswami rallied party workers to strive for the defeat of the opposition. He underscored the alliance’s mission to end what he termed as a corrupt and anti-people government, signaling a fierce electoral contest in the run-up to the polls.
