Akshay Kumar, under Ahmed Khan’s direction in ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, reminisced about their journey starting from ‘Ye Dillagi’ and ‘Suhaag’, progressing to various collaborations. Recalling their escapades, Akshay shared an incident from the filming of ‘Aflatoon’ in 1997, where they danced on a passing fan’s car. Despite being chased away multiple times, Akshay and Ahmed continued their work, facing challenges during shoots in different locations.
In their early days, Akshay and Ahmed encountered security and police interventions while filming, with instances of being chased out of shooting locations. Akshay mentioned how they would start shooting in buildings only to be confronted by watchmen and even police at times. These experiences, including being chased from Sea Rock, have been part of their journey together.
The upcoming project, ‘Welcome To The Jungle’, features a star-studded cast including Suniel Shetty, Jackie Shroff, Raveena Tandon, and many more. Produced by AA Nadiadwala and Star Studio18 in collaboration with other production houses, the film promises an ensemble of renowned actors in an exciting venture.
