Superstar singer Arijit Singh, who had previously announced his retirement from playback singing, has addressed the ongoing release of his songs post-retirement. In a recent note shared on social media, Singh expressed gratitude to his listeners and clarified that despite halting new assignments, there are numerous pending songs that will continue to be released over the coming months. He urged fans to remain calm and focus on positivity amidst the situation.

Singh emphasized that while he won’t be taking new projects as a playback singer, the existing backlog of songs will gradually be unveiled, possibly extending into the next year. He encouraged his audience to stay peaceful, detach from negativity, and engage in activities like meditation and self-care. The singer also hinted at a prolonged timeline for the song releases, advising fans to embrace a serene outlook during this period of transition.

Having bid farewell to his playback singing career, Arijit Singh expressed appreciation for his musical journey in a heartfelt message. Alongside his retirement, reports suggest that Singh is venturing into filmmaking, with plans for a directorial debut in the near future.
