Former Delhi Chief Minister and Leader of Opposition, Atishi, called on Lieutenant Governor V.K. Saxena to apologize for alleged political conspiracies by the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) against AAP leader Arvind Kejriwal. Atishi highlighted the dismissal of the case implicating Kejriwal by a Special CBI court, urging the L-G to take moral responsibility.
In a public note, Atishi emphasized the exposure of lies and conspiracies by the BJP regarding Delhi’s liquor policy. The court’s ruling clarified that there was no scam in the policy and the allegations against Kejriwal and former Deputy Chief Minister Manish Sisodia were baseless. Atishi urged L-G Saxena to acknowledge the orchestrated conspiracy and publicly apologize to Kejriwal, Sisodia, and the people of Delhi.
Praising the court’s decision as a victory for truth and the people of Delhi, Atishi condemned the BJP government for misusing investigative agencies to tarnish political opponents. She accused the BJP of fabricating false cases for political gain, attempting to destabilize the elected government, and undermining democracy by imprisoning public leaders.
