Actor Babil Khan recently posted a series of unseen childhood pictures with his late father, Irrfan Khan, reminiscing about their special bond. Fans were deeply moved by the emotional post, with Babil reflecting on cherished memories from his early years spent with his father. In the caption accompanying the pictures, Babil expressed his sentiments, saying, “To begin again, remembering you. With my feet planted firm in my roots.”

The shared images capture intimate and candid moments between Irrfan and a young Babil, evoking nostalgia among followers. One picture shows Irrfan holding baby Babil in his arms, both gazing upwards, while another depicts the late actor sitting closely with his son, engaging with him affectionately. In a third image, Irrfan is seen playfully carrying Babil on his shoulders, showcasing a heartwarming father-son bond.

Irrfan Khan, a renowned actor, passed away on April 29, 2020, at the age of 53, following a battle with a rare form of cancer known as neuroendocrine tumour. His demise had a profound impact, not only in India but also across the global film industry. Sutapa Sikdar, a writer and producer, was Irrfan’s wife for many years, having met him during their time at the National School of Drama before marrying in 1995. The couple shares two sons, Babil and Ayan.

Babil Khan, following in his father’s footsteps, has ventured into the film industry. He marked his acting debut in the 2022 Netflix film “Qala,” where he starred alongside Triptii Dimri and Swastika Mukherjee, continuing the legacy of his talented father.
