The Baloch National Movement (BNM) organized a protest outside the Prime Minister’s House in London to denounce ongoing human rights abuses in Balochistan, such as enforced disappearances and civilian “genocide” by Pakistani forces. This demonstration was part of the BNM Global Campaign, which brought together Baloch diaspora members to raise awareness about the situation in Balochistan.
During the protests, activists conducted an awareness campaign by distributing pamphlets at various key locations in London, including the Prime Minister’s Office, the British Parliament, and media outlets like the BBC. Senior BNM leader Hassan Dost Baloch emphasized that Pakistan’s attempts to suppress the Baloch national movement through genocide would not succeed, highlighting the movement’s progress towards freedom since 2009.
The protest also featured speeches by human rights activists Abid Abdullah, Jasim Baloch, and Ahmed Abdul Hameed, who called for increased international attention on the critical conditions in Balochistan. In a separate event in South Korea’s Busan, the BNM organized a peaceful protest to shed light on human rights abuses and military repression in Balochistan, urging global solidarity against Pakistani forces’ atrocities.
