The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) has disclosed the plan for India’s upcoming two-match T20I series against Ireland. Scheduled for June 26 and 28 in Belfast, the T20Is will mark India’s first assignment post their T20 World Cup 2026 win. Following the ODI series against Afghanistan, India will engage in a one-off Test match and a three-match ODI series before commencing the tour against England on July 1.
India’s Senior Men’s team is set to visit Ireland for the T20I series in June 2026, returning to Belfast after a gap since 2007. This tour signifies India’s fourth visit to Ireland, with previous tours in 2018, 2022, and 2023. Ireland’s cricket calendar includes a Test against New Zealand, matches against India, and a five-game ODI series against Afghanistan, concluding in August.
Apart from home fixtures, Ireland’s cricket team is scheduled for international tours, including Nepal, the United Arab Emirates, and a significant multi-format tour of Pakistan in early 2027. The Ireland Men’s programme is poised for a busy year ahead, with potential additions such as a Test match against New Zealand and five ODIs against Afghanistan.
