Bihar Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Kumar Sinha and Minister Dilip Jaiswal praised Nitin Nabin’s appointment as the new National President of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) as a positive step towards realizing the vision of Viksit Bharat 2047. Sinha highlighted the party’s emphasis on youth leadership, expressing excitement and pride among the youth nationwide.
Jaiswal echoed similar sentiments, noting the enthusiasm and anticipation among young people throughout the country. He emphasized that the new leadership of the Bharatiya Janata Party would propel the vision of a developed India by 2047 with youthful vigor. BJP MP Anurag Thakur also congratulated Nitin Nabin, highlighting his achievement of becoming the national president at the age of 45 after a distinguished political career.
Nitin Nabin, currently serving as the National Working President of the BJP, visited various religious sites before assuming office formally. His itinerary included visits to the Jhandewalan Temple, Hanuman Mandir in Connaught Place, Prachin Bhagwan Valmiki Mandir at Mandir Marg, and Bangla Sahib Gurudwara to seek blessings ahead of the swearing-in ceremony. Celebrations outside the BJP headquarters marked the occasion, with elaborate decorations and tight security measures in place for a smooth event.
The swearing-in ceremony, to be attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior party leaders, signifies a significant leadership transition within the BJP. Nitin Nabin emerged as the sole candidate for the post of National President after a nomination process that saw overwhelming support from the party’s top brass, including Prime Minister Modi, Home Minister Amit Shah, and outgoing President J.P. Nadda.
