In Bihar’s Khagaria district, the police successfully apprehended a notorious criminal as part of the ‘Operation Langda’ initiative. The incident took place during a vehicle-checking drive conducted by the Beldaur police on the Sakrohar-Kurvan road. When officers stopped three individuals on a motorcycle for inspection, the suspects resisted, leading to a scuffle with the police.
Amid the confrontation, one of the accused managed to snatch a service pistol from a Sub-Inspector before attempting to escape with the others. A chase ensued, during which the police identified and confronted the fleeing suspects. The police resorted to firing a warning shot and eventually shot one of the suspects, Akhilesh Sada, in the leg, leading to his capture.
Following the encounter, Akhilesh Sada was promptly taken into custody and hospitalized at Sadar Hospital in Khagaria for treatment. While he is receiving medical care, efforts are underway to locate and apprehend the other two absconding suspects. The police have initiated raids at various locations to track down the remaining individuals involved in the incident.
