The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) has announced Nitin Nabin as the only contender for the position of National President, with no other candidates emerging after the nomination process. Nabin’s unopposed election as the party’s 12th national chief is now imminent.

The National Returning Officer confirmed that 37 sets of nomination papers were submitted in support of Nabin, all of which were deemed valid after scrutiny. No withdrawals were made, and no additional candidates entered the race, solidifying Nabin’s position as the sole candidate.

Nabin, the 45-year-old National Working President, who garnered significant support from top BJP leaders, is poised to be formally elected by the electoral college comprising members of the BJP’s national council and state councils.

The BJP is expected to officially announce Nabin’s appointment as the BJP National President on Tuesday, reflecting a strategic move to introduce youthful leadership into the party while maintaining continuity.
