Continuing the Vikas Yatra series and marking one year of the Delhi government, Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, city BJP President Virendra Sachdeva, and New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj organized a public outreach program. Sachdeva highlighted that the BJP presents a Sankalp Patra during elections, emphasizing its commitment to fulfilling promises made during elections. He expressed pride in the accomplishments already achieved and the groundwork laid for future commitments.
Delhi BJP chief stressed that the Sankalp Patra is not just an election pledge but a credible commitment to executing plans. He mentioned that the government under Chief Minister Rekha Gupta has met people’s expectations within a year, instilling a sense of pride among citizens. The BJP leader recalled Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s statement that a developed Delhi is crucial for a developed India, emphasizing Delhi’s progress on the path of development.
During the public outreach program, New Delhi MP Bansuri Swaraj noted the renewed enthusiasm for development since Rekha Gupta’s government assumed office. She highlighted rapid development in the New Delhi parliamentary constituency, including significant allocations for various development projects. Swaraj mentioned the establishment of Atal Canteens providing affordable meals and the initiation of multiple development projects like multi-storey parking and drain desilting to prevent waterlogging.
Chief Minister Rekha Gupta, emphasizing her roots as a party worker, highlighted the government’s commitment to fulfilling public expectations after years of struggle. She underscored the significant investments in development projects across all assembly constituencies, contrasting the current scenario with past administrations. Gupta reiterated the government’s focus on essential needs like sewer systems, pollution control, and transport infrastructure, promising visible transformation in Delhi every year.
