BJP MP Saumitra Khan commended the initial actions taken during the first Cabinet meeting chaired by West Bengal Chief Minister Suvendu Adhikari. Khan also expressed support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s recent call for reducing non-essential expenditures and fuel usage amid global economic uncertainties. He urged citizens to consider curtailing luxury spending for the nation’s well-being, echoing the Prime Minister’s message of prudent financial management. Additionally, Khan defended PM Modi against criticism from opposition leaders regarding his foreign visits, asserting that international engagements were vital for the country’s interests and dismissing the opposition’s objections as lacking substance.
