BJP MP Anurag Thakur highlighted the government’s clarification on India’s position regarding the West Asia crisis. He mentioned that External Affairs Minister S. Thakur criticized the Opposition for its perceived indecision on the matter.
Thakur emphasized that India’s actions for the welfare of its citizens, both domestically and internationally, had been clearly outlined by Jaishankar. He pointed out the Opposition’s lack of clarity, citing their no-confidence motion against the Speaker without pursuing discussions.
Meanwhile, BJP MP Konda Vishweshwar Reddy commended Jaishankar for elucidating India’s stance on the geopolitical scenario and stressed the importance of national unity during global crises. Reddy highlighted the significance of standing united with the nation during times of geopolitical tensions or conflicts.
Hema Malini, another BJP MP, praised Jaishankar’s comprehensive statement in the Rajya Sabha, addressing various issues and proposing solutions. She noted the Opposition’s reluctance to engage constructively with the minister’s statement, indicating a lack of receptiveness.
