Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin, during a two-day visit to Odisha, highlighted the importance of enhanced coordination between the government and the party organization. Nabin, addressing the BJP state core Committee meeting in Odisha, urged party leaders to strengthen the bond between the party structure and the state government.
The meeting, attended by Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi, Deputy CMs K.V. Singh Deo and Pravati Parida, Union Ministers Dharmendra Pradhan, Jual Oram, state BJP president Manmohan Samal, as well as senior ministers and MPs, focused on reinforcing the party organization in Odisha. MP Pratap Chandra Sarangi described the gathering as informative and motivating, with a specific emphasis on enhancing grassroots-level communication and public engagement.
Nabin instructed party members to actively participate in public awareness campaigns and improve communication with the local populace. He stressed the need for addressing public concerns effectively and pushing the party’s anti-corruption initiatives down to the village level for transparent governance. The BJP National President also reviewed various ongoing programs, including women’s outreach efforts and public awareness drives, encouraging leaders to expand these initiatives statewide.
Discussions at the meeting also revolved around strengthening the party organization ahead of the upcoming Panchayat and urban local body elections. Nabin urged party officials to devise comprehensive strategies and action plans for the elections, providing a clear roadmap for organizational growth. The meeting injected fresh enthusiasm among BJP workers in Odisha, setting a clear direction for future activities.
