Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) National President Nitin Nabin is set to embark on a two-day organisational tour of Jammu & Kashmir on July 6 and 7. The visit aims to enhance the party’s outreach and strengthen its presence in the Union Territory.
On July 6, Nabin will be in Jammu to participate in a commemorative event at the Grand Palace honoring the birth anniversary of Shyama Prasad Mookerjee, the Bharatiya Jana Sangh’s founder. This event will bring together senior leaders and grassroots workers to honor Mookerjee’s legacy and his contributions to the party’s ideological framework.
During his time in Jammu, the BJP President will lead a core committee meeting to review organisational matters and discuss the party’s regional strategy. Additionally, he will engage with party members to evaluate ongoing initiatives and enhance coordination among various party units.
Moving to Kashmir on July 7, Nabin is scheduled to meet with BJP legislators and Members of Parliament to address organisational issues and outline the party’s upcoming initiatives in the Valley. These discussions will underscore the BJP’s commitment to expanding its political presence and addressing local concerns.
A significant aspect of his Kashmir agenda will be a “Youth Dialogue” session, where Nabin will interact with young individuals on topics such as employment, political engagement, and the party’s vision for youth participation. This dialogue reflects the BJP’s broader objective of connecting with younger demographics and promoting their active involvement in political processes.
This two-day visit highlights the BJP’s dedication to strengthening its organisational roots in Jammu & Kashmir while fostering enhanced coordination among party leaders and workers. Through a blend of commemorative events, strategic meetings, and youth engagement, Nabin’s tour is poised to reaffirm the party’s commitment to bolstering its presence in the Union Territory.
