Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) President Nitin Nabin commenced a three-day visit to Punjab, highlighting India’s rapid development under Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s leadership and urging Punjab to achieve new growth milestones. Nabin emphasized the BJP’s vision for Punjab, stating that only a BJP government led by Modi could effectively combat drug issues in the state.
Upon arriving at the Sri Guru Ram Dass Ji International Airport in Amritsar, Nabin received a warm welcome from Punjab BJP President Kewal Singh Dhillon and party members. He later attended a State Core Committee meeting to discuss strengthening the party organization, planning future programs, and assessing the state’s political landscape.
During his visit, Nabin visited Shri Harmandir Sahib, where he was honored by the Shiromani Gurdwara Parbandhak Committee (SGPC) and participated in seva activities. He expressed gratitude for the opportunity to seek blessings and pray for peace and prosperity in Punjab and across the nation.
Nabin, acknowledging the historical significance of Punjab, highlighted the state’s potential for development and prosperity. He emphasized the need for inclusive growth, ensuring that the benefits of progress reach every household and village in Punjab. Nabin’s visit also included paying respects at Jallianwala Bagh and seeking blessings at various temples in the region.
