In a sudden incident on Friday, the brake van of the Shahdol-Nagpur Express train derailed, causing panic among passengers. The derailment occurred between Nainpur and Keolari stations in Madhya Pradesh while the train was en route from Seoni-Shahdol section to Nagpur. Passengers experienced a moment of confusion and chaos as the wheels of the brake van slipped off the tracks, resulting in a loud noise and abrupt halt.
Senior railway officials, technical teams, Railway Protection Force, and Government Railway Police personnel quickly responded to the scene. Efforts to restore normal operations began promptly, focusing on re-railing the derailed brake van and repairing any track damage.
