India has dispatched critical medical supplies to the Africa CDC to assist in responding to the Ebola outbreak. Minister Jaishankar emphasized India’s commitment to supporting Africa during this health emergency. Indian citizens in or traveling to Congo, Uganda, and South Sudan have been advised to follow local health guidelines and take extra precautions due to the Ebola outbreak in these countries. The World Health Organization has classified the situation as a Public Health Emergency of International Concern.
